  Sound and music are made up of vibrations. The more vibrations per second, the higher the pitch. The unit for this is the Hertz (Hz). 432 Hz is the natural "pitch" of the universe. This pitch is interwoven in nature, in mathematics, in planetary orbits, and throughout the universe. All classical music by Bach, Brahms and others was composed and originally performed using the "standard" A (=A4) of 432 Hz. Our series of "432 Hz" crystal singing bowls are also tuned in this manner. This results in the following frequencies for the pitches we sell.

  These are newly made crystal singing bowls that are beautifully crafted and have a powerful sound. Our crystal singing bowls are made of pure quartz crystal powder, heated to several thousand degrees. The heating process fuses the individual particles of the quartz powder together to form a bowl. They are then individually tuned to a specific note. The size of the bowl affects the pitch: smaller bowls produce a much higher pitch than larger bowls. Generally speaking, higher pitches have an uplifting, purifying effect, while lower pitches tend to be more relaxing and grounding. We respond differently to specific sounds, so the same bowl can have quite different effects on individuals. Our advice is to purchase different types of mallets and learn about their respective sounds, such as rubber, leather, felt or wool mallets.

  Each mallet makes a different sound and has a specific vibration, so it's best to try them out. After such testing, you will know which mallet you need to create the specific vibration of your choice. When you order any of the note bowls, you may receive a flat or sharp note for that note. There are very few true notes. This is a rare occurrence. A given size bowl may have more than one note or tone. This varies with weight, wall height and wall thickness. The notes assigned to the bowl size vary depending on the manufacturing process, availability and accuracy of the tuning. Each set of seven bowls includes notes. c, d, e, f, g, a' and b' that reverberate through the seven chakras. The size of the bowl for each note is determined by the manufacturer. The bowl size does not increase as you go up the scale, but can vary depending on the optimum tuning size for that particular note.

  When two or more crystal bowls sound together, the sound waves emitted intertwine, creating beautiful flowing harmonics, as long as they are harmonically tuned together. These harmonics surround us and the vibrations will affect different people differently, depending on what is happening in their lives. In therapy, the healing sounds of the quartz crystal bowl are used primarily to help rebalance and harmonize. It is best for you and the person near the crystal bowl if you do not tap the crystal bowl for more than 15-20 minutes at a time. A 15 minute break is recommended - this is to ensure that the energy field is not overloaded with energy and that everyone has a chance to absorb the changes. Practitioners often forget that they are also receiving energy healing! This is not possible. At the beginning of the vocalization, you want to always maintain the highest intention, because the bowl will become an extension of you as you vocalize.

  You can ask to tune the bowl to a particular chakra. In the main, the characteristics of each chakra are. One of the purposes of all forms of vibrational healing is to help us consciously and deliberately shift from negative to positive emotions. The thought energy interacts with the crystals to change the thoughts into a more harmonious energy. This can lead to a change in brainwave frequency and a possible change in consciousness. Thus, the power of positive intention or affirmation combined with the music of the crystal bowl provides significant healing on all levels.

  You may get the best results if you take some time to prepare before you ring the Crystal Bowl. A simple breathing exercise can help you. My preferred method is to inhale to 4, hold to 4, and then exhale to 8. Do this for a few minutes to help clear your mind and any negative emotions. Then imagine that you and your bowl are surrounded by light. You can imagine the color corresponding to the bowl, or surround yourself with pure white light. Creating an affirmation and repeating it to yourself silently or out loud will also help. This makes you more able to keep your thoughts in one place. In short, always make affirmations in the present tense and state them in a positive way. Instead of saying, "I want to get rid of this headache," say, "My head is clear and calm" (or whatever statement best expresses your intention). When you are relaxed and feel yourself and the area around you fill with light, gently tap the outside of the bowl near the top edge and begin to make the sound of the bowl. Follow the sound around the bowl, for example with a wand or a leather-covered mallet; this will enhance the duration and loudness of the sound. Some people prefer to move the wand or mallet clockwise for a specific intention. Others claim it doesn't matter, and they also move it counterclockwise, or a combination of both methods. Tune into your intuition to get a feel for what works best for you. Never put one's head in the crystal bowl when tapping it. Do not tap or strike the crystal bowl too loudly, especially near the person's head. If you have more than one bowl, keep them at least 30 cm apart, otherwise the vibrations may shatter one bowl. Also, people with metal pins or stainless steel ball joints in their bodies may notice discomfort or pain if they stand near someone tapping a crystal bowl. Ask before using the bowl. Read more.
