By observing rainbows, we can learn that different spectrums of light produce different colors. Colors are visible because of the presence of an energy called photons. Photons are a form of energy, just as sound vibration is a form of energy. Sound and light travel or vibrate at different speeds or frequencies, so our senses perceive them differently. Usually, we see colors and hear sounds. Sound is usually described and measured in hertz (Hz), while light is measured in waves or particles. In any case, the two dance together quite beautifully. This combination between light and sound is the reason we are able to determine that sound waves resonate with various colors that align with our body's chakras. This is also the reason why people tend to “see” colors when they hear the sound frequencies of the crystal sound wave bowls.
